Dana
Ward, Roger’s wife of nine years, is the marketing director and most know her as the face of the
company to the Kansas City community. Her energy and commitment to the community helps create great awareness for Marathon
Moving & Delivery. Dana joined the military after high school when she enlisted in the Kansas Army National
Guard. During her military service, she earned an Associate of Arts in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management.
Her high standards and intense desire to be the best consistently pushed her to the top of her class and she graduated with
honors. Her management abilities were put to good use when the couple purchased a house and studio apartments near
the Army base and Dana took on the role of apartment manager during Roger’s deployments.
Today,
Dana’s connective personality, attention to detail, and giving spirit is a huge asset to the company’s success
and growth in Kansas
City over
the past several years. Her ability to market the business in different spheres such as networking, grassroots advertising
strategies, and community involvement has launched Marathon into the forefront of the public eye when it comes to local moving.
Our Vision
To change the way people look at moving...the status quo of movers and the quality
of service offered by the moving industry.
It
is important to view moving as a way of serving people on a very personal level. It's
just not everyday people willingly allow strangers into their home to invade their space and move their personal possessions.
